Job Purpose and Role:
To assist in the provision of Building and Caretaking services in certain establishments within the City.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
1.Under the general direction of the Facilities Manager to assist in the provision of an efficient and effective quality service in allocated establishments, to include the access and visiting arrangements for empty properties in liaison with the Compliance Officer.
2.Under the direction of the Facilities Manager to monitor and oversee the delivery of services in allocated establishments.
3.To liaise with customers as necessary.
4.To monitor the allocation of budget and resources at nominated establishments.
5.Preparation of letters, reports, and other documentation related to the delivery of services as required.
6.Attendance at such meetings as may be appropriate in the delivery of services to customers.
7. Assisting with the introduction of new technology to the section.
8.Attendance of courses, seminars, conferences etc as nominated by the Head of Services - Facilities.
9.Ensuring the Health and Safety of the staff and public are adequately considered and maintained.
