My client is a progressive and long-established Group of companies with a HQ based in West Berkshire.

They are currently seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join their Finance Team on a permanent basis - working on a hybrid, in-office/home-based flexible working scenario with full tech package provided.

This is an exciting time to be joining the business as they are experiencing growth and the results from the previous 18 months trading saw minimal impact from C19.

The Credit Control team is an intrinsic part of the Finance function and you will be recognised and rewarded for hard work and positive results. The team is expansive enough to allow a degree of progression to Senior and Supervisor and even Credit Manager.

You will oversee a UK Sales Ledger and be responsible for end to end credit collections and cash allocation duties.

The successful candidate will be a strong communicator with experience in a target driven environment, ensuring accurate cash flow forecasting and hold overall responsibility for driving down DSO through effective and streamlined cash collection processes - obtaining timely payment from debtors via Direct Debit, Credit Card and BACS.

Duties include:
*Obtaining payment from Clients using effective collection techniques via telephone/email and utilising internal contacts
*Query resolution and Credit note processing
*Sales Ledger account reconciliations and statement generation
*Cash flow forecasting, processing payments & associated reports
*Cash allocation
*Liaising with internal stakeholders
*Customer account maintenance
*Must be well organised and flexible and capable of working to tight deadlines


The Candidate:
*Proven experience as a Credit Controller +4 years
*Measurable and demonstrable track record of managing a Sales ledger
*Excel skills (Credit Control relevant ie. Ledger production, Vlookup, Payment promises, bad debt and query monitoring with reporting)
*Outgoing, engaging personality and the ability to work with a diverse portfolio of debtors
*Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
