Solutions Consultant / Pre Sales Consultant / Coventry / Permanent

My client, a market leading, and rapidly growing global software company are looking for a driven and experienced Pre Sales Solutions Consultant to join the team.

The Pre Sales Solutions Consultant will be working alongside the Sales team and will be responsible for demonstrating a suite of products to new prospects. Presenting either remotely or in person, you'll have a good understanding of metrics and KPIs for the client's primary verticals.

There is a technical aspect to the role which includes scoping and delivering proof of concept environments, a basic knowledge of SQL would be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

*Assisting the Customer Acquisition and Customer Experience teams in the acquisition of new customers and revenue-generating opportunities - lead qualification, presentation of solutions options, product demo, the closing of a deal.
*Provide technical and product expertise during sales presentations, product demonstrations.
*Supporting Demonstrations of the product, both standard and tailored to prospects and existing customers, both onsite and Online
*Recommend integration strategies, platforms, and application infrastructure required to enhance and support our solutions.
*Scoping and delivering Proof of Concept/Proof of Value engagements with prospects
*Responding to Request for Information/Proposal documents
*Stay up to date on product releases and new features in solutions suites
*Conduct technical training for both customers and internal employees on the product suite
*Supporting and participate in marketing events - user conferences, trade shows, customer webinars, etc.
*Research new technologies and identify opportunities where they can be used in applications
*Staying current on competitive analyses and understanding differentiators between the client and its competitors.
*Continuously building knowledge and expertise in ERP, MRP, CRM, and other likely data sources
*Collaborating with internal teams to enhance and develop product features, and knowledge share.

Key Skills and Experience required:

*Demonstrable experience in a similar Solutions Consultant or Technical Pre-Sales role.
*Great head for data and how it can be leveraged to benefit business.
*Experience in SAAS or ERP environment is desirable.
*Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology or equivalent experience.
