I am currently recruiting on behalf of an end - user based just outside of Leeds who are looking for a D365FO Consultant (Finance) on a permanent basis. Please see below for more information of what my client is looking for:

Overall requirement & purpose:

The objective of this role is to manage the support my client new Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365) solution. You will lead the global Service and Support team who provide D365 Finance and Operations functional support across the business.

This role would particularly suit an individual who has some experience of managing staff with aspirations to build and develop a team from scratch.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Lead the Service and Support for Dynamics 365 Finance and operations including Functional support, environments, patching, change & release management, business intelligence, development, reporting, and management of the interfaces
  • Management and analysis of the tickets generated for D365
  • Manage the integrations with other systems to ensure they remain available and accurately exchange data with D365
  • Work with our SME across the business to build help and knowledge articles to ensure that self-help is available for all our business processes
  • Manage the patching and servicing of D365 including testing, change and release management
  • Lead a smooth transition from the current implementation phase to the operations phase and ensure good support is provided to staff
  • Manage the associated reporting, dashboard, forecasting environments

Essential Skills:

  • 3 years Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations functional experience with some team leadership responsibilities.
  • Excellent understanding and knowledge of core Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations and other modules. Knowledge of project management and accounting is an advantage, as is an understanding of the security concept.
  • Understanding of Dynamics 365 Azure cloud hosted environments and integration solutions
  • Understanding the management of the operation of a Microsoft evergreen environment (continuous updates, automated testing etc.)
  • Microsoft PowerBI and SQL Server understanding
  • Ability to work with process leads and subject matter experts and ensure the creation of high quality functional and non-functional documentation and strong requirements gathering skills
  • Deep technical knowledge of Dynamics 365 for Finance & Operations
