Key Responsibilities

 Ensure the day-to-day work is carried out in a safe manner and all accidents are reported and

investigated, adhering to all Health and Safety regulations and guidelines, Risk assessments


 Managing the installation teams in order to ensure client satisfaction

 Motivate, organise and encourage the team to ensure productivity targets are met if not exceeded

 Lead and manage weekly fitting meetings

 Scheduling in of all jobs in advance, using the fitting diary and Synchroteam job booking system

 Customer liaison to include but not limited to booking in fitting and installation, resolving issues

and all customer service queries

 Handling all supplier returns systematically and effectively

 Feedback to design team re: all fitting jobs and customer service issues

 Daily management of the warehouse

 Regular inspections of the warehouse's needs and carrying out any necessary maintenance and


 Oversea the planned maintenance of vehicles, machinery and equipment

 Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security in the work environment

 Manage our current stock control accurately and order management systems (inventory) -

logging all orders on an Excel tracking system

 Prepare goods in items for picking by delivery and installation teams

 Ensuring efficient control of delivery schedules

 Be responsible for route planning for jobs

 Regular and frequent heavy lifting of furniture - Careful loading and unloading of delivery vehicles

 Continuously improving Supply Chain, Logistics and Operational procedures, implementing


 Make sure that quality, budget targets and environmental objectives are met

 Continuously review all operational KPI's

 Any other tasks appropriate to this position

 Must be certified to drive a Bendi forklift truck

 Occasional opportunities to work alongside the fitting team on show homes and developments -

thus ensuring all aspects of project installations and client facing are carried out effectively and


Key Requirements

 Fluent in both written and spoken English

 Previous warehouse management experience is essential - preferably in the furniture industry

 Strong leadership and management skills - with specific experience in managing installation and

fitting teams

 Certificate trained to drive a Bendi forklift truck is essential

 An adaptable candidate who is capable of working in a fast-paced environment and can prioritise

their work load

 Computer literate with current day-to-day knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook

 Possess a driven nature and dedicated mentality

 Good timekeeping and able to organise task completion in a timely manner

 Able use initiative to problem solve and create solutions for arising issues

 Able to lift heavy items for installation preparation on a regular and frequent basis

 Job holder should be reliable, proactive, trustworthy and possess a high level of common sense

 Willing to learn and undertake new challenges

 Must be 25 years old or above for insurance purposes

 Good geographical knowledge of North / West London

 Full UK Driver's Licence and use of own car is essential
