Software Quality Assurance Analyst

You'll need at least 2 years' commercial experience, and in the role will be focusing on both customer facing digital products and services as well as the backend systems created by the development teams. You will work with the Lead QA to implement a robust testing approach within development cycles, to provide an effective level of assurance before regular releases. This is a remote role.
QA ANALYST DUTIES
The Junior Test Engineer / QA Analyst role will include the following duties and responsibilities:
*Testing of new features and/or services required by the business.
*Test new and existing webpages/applications.
*Create test plans, automated and manual tests
*Identify issues in production code and record these in the issue management system
*Perform systems, integration, regression and UAT testing
*Using manual and automated tools to test UI and both internal and external APIs conform to agreed specifications
*Working with Lead QA to help continuously improve test methodology & tools
QA ANALYST SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
We are looking for someone with a minimum of 2 years' experience in testing / Quality Assurance and the following:
*Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills; strong attention to detail.
*Excellent communication skills across all types of stakeholders.
*Experience of test planning, estimation, and design.
*Knowledge of Acceptance Test Driven Development.
*Experienced in systems, integration, regression and UAT testing.
*Knowledge of Restful APIs with knowledge of both XML and JSON formats.
*Knowledge of Automated test tools.
*Knowledge of website technologies including CSS/ HTML and frameworks.
Desirable but not essential:
*ISEB/ISTQB Certification
*Experience testing mobile devices
*Knowledge of JIRA or other issue management software
*Experience in using Automated test tools - Webdriver, Selenium etc.
