Financial Accountant

Badenoch + Clark are currently working with a highly successful business based close to Haywards Heath in the recruitment of a Financial Accountant on a permanent basis. Reporting into the Finance Director this is a fantastic role for someone looking to make their first move from practice in to industry or someone who is looking to make a step up with a view to becoming a Financial Controller in the future.

The company is fast paced and so the role requires someone with a pro-active attitude, that is change focused and who is able to communicate with senior level stakeholders (CFO / MD).

Key responsibilities will include:
*Preparation of statutory accounts under FRS 102 / IFRS
*Support on the annual group audit
*Prepare corporation tax returns
*Lead on automation and improvement initiatives
*Support with Group strategy and finance related projects

Key skills / experience
*ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
*Strong technical knowledge of IFRS
*Excellent communication skills and have the ability to challenge senior stakeholders
*Good level of Excel
*Desire to want to get involved in project based work
