Senior AIX Engineer - Unix£50,000 - £60,000
Remote with travel to the office 1 / 2 days a week in Harrogate

My client, a leading financial services company is seeking a Senior AIX Engineer to join a successful UNIX team based in Yorkshire. This role would require you to be one / two days a week in the start-of-the-art data centre. As the Senior AIX Engineer, you will be required to ensure readiness, performance, resources, and security meets the needs for clients. In addition you will be required as a technical resource for systems design, installation, configuration and client provisioning.
The successful Senior AIX Engineer will possess the following skills and experiences:-
* IBM AIX
* RHEL server technologies
* Unix scripting Korne Shell and ideally Perl scripting
* Administrating and supporting multiple systems in a complex and distributed environment, including the day to day management of resources and issues.
* Managing and maintaining a Storage Area Network and enterprise storage system environment
* Administrating an enterprising backup solution
