This is a fantastic opportunity with our Transport and Logistics client based in Ipswich, to join the sales team and promote their brand!
It is not essential that you have sales experience, just a real drive and passion to succeed! We are looking for somebody with a background within a Freight environment, so that you are able to understand the business and promote them!
The role
- Making calls, emails and contacting clients to promote the brand in Ireland and the UK
- Find prospects and opportunities in the market to approach
- Book in client meetings for the outside commercial team
- Have a great relationship and communication with other departments and offices
- Work with the sales team and the resources provided to build business for the company
- Create sales activities and campaigns!
Skills
Essential
- Previous experience within a freight environment (1 year+)
- Great problem-solving skills and think outside the box!
- Be able to meet under pressure and meet deadlines
- Fantastic customer service & communication skills
- Can do attitude!

The offer
- A salary of £25,000
- Fantastic progression opportunities
- Annual Leave - 20 days per annual plus 8 days bank holiday
- Company Sick Pay after 12 months
- Pension - 6% employer and 2% employee contribution
- Life Assurance from commencement date - 3 x basic salary
