IT Officer

IT Officer will be involved in delivering 1st line support to all users and guests.

The post holder will work with a small and supportive team of other ICT staff and undertake a broad range of tasks including taking part in group projects, supporting internal events in the use of audio-visual equipment, and maintenance of ICT infrastructure. There will be opportunities to take on responsibilities for projects and the IT Officer will receive
appropriate training.

The ideal candidate will be presentable, with excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to explain technical issues to colleagues at every level.

We are looking for a strong team player who is also able to work independently. An ability to solve and analyse technical
and non-technical issues and make informed judgements is also essential, as is a positive and helpful
attitude towards work and colleagues.

research.
