Role: Temporary Purchase Ledger (1 day per week - Wednesday)

Location: Leeds, LS14 (Free car parking available)

Hours: 1 day week, 8:00am - 5:00pm working hours

Start Date: Weds 31st March 2021

Duration: Ongoing

Salary: £10.00 per hour plus holiday accrual

We're looking for a Temporary Purchase Ledger to join our LS14 based client for 8 weeks, starting ASAP, 1-day week on a Wednesday to help with payments runs.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • End to end purchase ledger: including: processing high volumes of invoices, raising payments, bank reconciliations
  • Reconcile supplier statements and raise POs
  • Monitor accounts inbox
  • Managing and reconciling company credit cards
  • Managing petty cash
  • Payment runs - Weekly, mid-month and end of month

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Demonstrable bookkeeping/purchase ledger experience
  • Excellent communication and team working skills
  • Experienced in Excel and MS Office
  • Knowledge of SAGE 200 and BACS
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deal with a high volume of invoices
