Head of Quality and Continuous Improvement
£55,000 - £60,000 per annum depending on experience
Commutable from Leeds, Wakefield, York, Huddersfield, Sheffield, Barnsley and Hull

A fantastic organisation dealing with community care, substance misuse and care homes is looking for a permanent Head of Quality and Continuous Improvement to join their team. This organisation takes service user experience and staff as their priority and wants to continue to develop and deliver the best service possible. If you can lead and drive the development and deployment of a comprehensive Quality Assurance framework, sharing accountability for care outcomes with Operational teams to ensure the organisation is recognised as a leading provider of high quality and safe care and support then we would love to hear from you.

The role requires someone to collaborate effectively with colleagues to embed outstanding practice in the key disciplines of Safeguarding, Quality and Continuous Improvement in the complex stakeholder environment in which this organisation operates by introducing tools, policies and procedures that enable colleagues to take ownership of managing the safeguarding, compliance and assurance risks. You would also need to to lead the drive for truly person-centred support ensuring regulatory and CQC standards are met and exceeded in the services.
Minimum of 5 years management experience in health or social care
Level 5 or above management/leadership qualification
Nursing qualification-RGN, RLND or RMN with a minimum 5years post graduate clinical experience
Level 5 or above safeguarding training or a willingness to attend training
Experience within a Caldicott Guardian role or willingness to attend training
Experience of using Quality Improvement methodologies
Experience of providing well written reports to groups and committees
Experience of working within a quality and continuous improvement setting in a health or social care
Excellent people management and leadership skills and ability to inspire and motivate teams
