Adecco are delighted to be assisting Sunseeker International with their search for a Materials Expediter to join their busy team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a market leading and prestigious brand in an ongoing, long term assignment.
The Job
Dealing with a set supplier group, the ideal candidate will support production requirements by:
- Issuing the supplier open purchase order book to suppliers on a weekly basis to ensure production have visibility of delivery dates
- Manage the portal status and investigate discrepancies
- Produce shortage reports
- Updating materials portal to show current status of materials
- Providing updates in production meetings regarding critical and future material requirements
- Monitoring and reporting delivery issues
- Engaging with stakeholders regarding delivery issues and updates
- Process improvement
- Ensuring suppliers provide correct paperwork
- Work within the terms of the supplier manual
- Working with stakeholders to overcome shortages
- Supporting end of line close downs
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator and influencer who will have ERP and SAP experience (although candidates without this would be considered). You will be results driven with an ability to build relationships internally and externally and will have experience of production control / chasing.
The salary for this role is competitive depending on experience.
