Adecco are supporting Amazon fulfilling supplies to local communities. We are looking to hire Warehouse operatives in Dundee DDD1

Excellent Pay Rate Provided:

• £9.70 per hour (days) to £10.70 per hour (nights)
• Overtime rates between £14.55 per hour to £19.40 per hour

Typical hours as a Warehouse Operative:

02:00 to 10:30; 04:00 to 10:30; 09:00 to 15:30; 16:00 to 21:00

Roles offer up to 40 hours per week which are on a variable pattern. An example of possible working patterns are shown below:

Week 1:
Monday, Tuesday, Saturday
Week 2:
Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday
Week 3:
Sunday, Monday

As a Warehouse operative, you may be asked to work in various areas of Amazon's Delivery Stations and Sort Centres, the main departments being Inbound and Outbound.

Your tasks may include:

Receiving & sorting parcels into relevant post codesStaging, feeding the lines, & resorting missortsHandling the full range of products sold by Amazon and its Marketplace sellers in the UK, including but not limited to: age restricted products, food (including nuts and meat) and alcohol and chemicals Following Amazon's internal processes and procedures, including using radio frequency (RF) scanners and reading instructions from the scanners

You will also be required to adhere to strict safety, quality and production standards and consistently achieve Minimum Acceptable Performance Standard (MAPS) set for your department.

The role involves the following physical requirements on a daily basis:

• Standing and/or walking
Lifting, bending, reaching above the head, kneeling, crouching, and/or stretchingPushing, pulling and lifting product up to 23kg in weight Manual dexterity of both hands and wrists Working on a secure mezzanine at a height of between 9 to 12 metres (equivalent to a 3 or 4 storey building) Regularly climbing and descending flights of stairs safely
