Business Analyst /Project Manager

One or our large custodian banks is currently looking for a Hybrid Business Analyst/Project Manager , This role is more of a Business Analyst with experience of project work.

Responsible for undertaking detailed business analysis activity, preferably with a good working knowledge of Custody (Asset Safety and Controls), good analysis skills including ability to challenge, experienced at working within a demanding project environment and familiar with supporting and/or leading project management activities such as project reporting, project planning, issue / risk identification and tracking, scope management, estimation, customer management, relationship management and other project documentation preparation.

Ensures projects are completed on time, within budget and with minimum defects. Adheres to methodologies adopted by the firm. Manage communication with the business at a detailed functional level, discuss/resolve issues, and manage customer expectations.

Conducts status meetings and facilitates issues resolution and risk mitigation.

Provide project level reporting to senior management, customers and other stakeholders. Coordinating smaller work efforts and larger work efforts.

Proactively identifies issues with a project or across projects. Escalates and resolves these issues as needed. When required, supervise project managers and associate project managers. Broad understanding of business analysis and financial reporting.

Operations, Controls Experience


Knowledge in the use of Business Analysis tools would be preferable. Experience with financial securities industry.

Experience in a project management and/or business analysis environment .

Knowledge of securities industry and / or related financial services experience.

Very strong planning and project organization skills. Very strong negotiation, decision making, problem solving, influencing skills.

Very strong verbal and written communication skills.

Very strong management reporting skills.

Ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task in high pressure, high volume environment.

Effectively use Microsoft Office applications and PC proficiency in Windows-based programs.
