Payroll Supervisor - UK

As part of a vibrant EMEA Payroll team, you will responsible for the day-to-day team supervision as well as performing payroll activity for the Company's EMEA shared services payroll function.

You will be a vital part of our in-house Payroll team, work across EMEA and get involved in some truly exciting projects

To be successful in this role you will have supervised a team and worked in a global organisation who run multiple payrolls across the EMEA region.

You will be involved in day-to-day activities where your acquired expertise and knowledge will provide focus to and add value to the team.

You will use your interpersonal skills to influence customers, suppliers and other comparable level managers.

Full Job Spec:

As the Payroll Supervisor will be responsible for timely and accurate payroll administration, and payroll policy development and implementation.

You will build and maintain collaborative working relationships with cross functional internal business partners.

You will manage monthly accounting close for payroll related activities, and managing payroll related vendor relationships. Reporting to the Associate Director, Accounting & Payroll this position requires a professional with experience working within a large company dealing with complex payroll issues and transactions within the EMEA region and work effectively in a team environment interacting with all levels of our organization, international team members, and external auditors.

Responsibilities will include

Manage the activities of the payroll process and team to ensure timely and accurate payroll

Meet all government reporting requirements for payroll taxes, withholding and employer contributions; Includes preparation of W-2's and other local payroll reporting requirements

Responsible for overall leadership of the payroll team, including hiring, developing, and evaluating personnel

Oversee the monthly payroll-related general ledger accounts, including generating journal entries and other month-end close duties, such as labour re-classes, accruals, etc.

In partnership with HR look to plan for future benefit changes and evaluate the payroll implications overseeing change management where required

Responsible for all aspects of operational and process controls around payroll

Responsible for maintaining Sarbanes-Oxley internal control narratives and testing documentation for areas of responsibilities

Manage projects related to payroll process improvements in order to create operational efficiencies

Process Calendar monthly payrolls for EMEA employees
