Position Summary:

The successful candidate will be employed as a Fund Controller in the Global Operations team. The role encompasses Fund Accounting, Investor Reporting, Data Management oversight and Liquidity Management. The candidate must have a strong knowledge of Alternative Credit, especially Structured Credit products, be well versed in Accounting principles, have extensive experience in Performance Return calculations. Knowledge of Closed Ended Funds is also advantageous.

The position will involve the following duties:

  • Investor & Portfolio Performance Returns - including IRRs, MOICs & Attribution
  • Fund Accounting - overseeing production of NAVs, monitoring Balance Sheets, PLs and Hedging efficiency
  • Calculations - overseeing Management and Performance fees,
  • Data - ensuring accuracy of data in the Front Office Systems and Data Warehouse
  • Reporting - Regulatory and Investor Reporting
  • Audit - oversight and sign off of Fund Audits
  • Liquidity & FX - ensuring cash is available for upcoming settlements and preparing FX hedging packs for FX trades.

Candidate Profile:

The successful candidate will work as a part of the team but with fair degree of autonomy. You must be able to stay self-motivated while working in the office or from home, demonstrate investigative mind and curiosity. You should be a team player, take responsibility and ownership of your work.

We expect the successful candidate to contribute to innovation and design of new processes, to question the status quo and come up with solutions. You should have the ability to develop and leverage relationships across a wide range of professional peers.

We are looking for a candidate that possess strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, and has the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts, ideas and processes with the proven presence, maturity and credibility.

Educated to degree level or equivalent, professional qualifications advantageous.
