As an Installation Administrator/Technician at GFS you will deliver high quality and efficient onboarding support to customers of the GFS product suite.

You enjoy helping customers and remain positive when under pressure taking pride in delivering a high-quality service. You have strong planning, scheduling and administration skills, and are comfortable with changing priorities.

Key Responsibilities

*Installing and configuring GFS products and associated services as part of the new customer onboarding process
*Fulfilling change requests
*Performing the administration activities around new customer installations and existing customer requests
*Producing reports and metrics relating to onboarding and requests.
*Timely and accurate updating of the portal, planner, Zendesk ticketing system of onboarding progress
*Attending planning and scheduling meetings
*Managing the requests inbox
*Scheduling and managing appointments for new and existing customers
*Managing carrier requests and responses to requests to the agreed SLAs
*Carrying out configuration and technical preparation for appointments
*Performing remote installations of products for new customers including post-install activities.
*Performing remote updates, changes and additions to existing customer installations and configurations
*Managing the distribution of printers to customers
*Managing the stock levels of printers and labels


Skills and Experience Required

Essential
*Team player
*Ability to work with minimal supervision
*Willing to invest in familiarisation of products, processes, tools
*Comfortable attending meetings and providing updates to senior members of staff
*Customer-service oriented
*Strong planning, scheduling, prioritising skills. Able to manage changing priorities.
*Strong organisational skills around workload, meeting service levels, and completing work on time
*Able to follow processes persistently and consistently
*Good written and verbal communication skills

Desirable
*Prior experience of software deployment and configuration
*Parcel or logistics industry experience
*Experience of working with Office365, Share Point, Teams, ticketing systems
