Position: Merchandiser (Permanent position)
Salary: £29,500 per annum with holidays & pension
Location: St. Albans, Hertfordshire
About the company: Our client is a well-established family run business, Due to growth in their business they are looking for an experienced Merchandiser to join their organisation.
Responsibilities
Understand seasonal trends to forecast accurately whilst taking into account supplier lead times and potential upcoming sales events.
Dealing with all back order and replenishment requests accurately and promptly to ensure the required levels of stock are available for transfer in good time.
Limiting potential stock issues and phasing accurately to avoid over/ under stocks.
To have the ability to react to changes in demand and logistics.
Monitoring new sales closely and logically top up ordering to meet predicted demand.
Understanding the sales trends to manually fine-tune automated forecasts.
Confirm orders will arrive within our agreed supplier lead time and chase up any orders which have exceeded their delivery date and update the system accordingly.
Requirements
Previous experience working within a merchandising role and forecasting skills is essential
Able to cope under pressure to meet the demand of the business.
Analytical and computer literate with good communication skills (verbal and written)
Willingness to be part of a team

09:00am - 5:30pm
