Badenoch + Clark is partnering with a public sector organisation who is looking to engage a Network Engineer on an initial contract until the end of March to support specific projects.Duties and responsibilities:-
* Undertake the support of networks, covering routine housekeeping/maintenance/backup duties, configuration management, change management and problem management.
* Undertake the development, planning, and implementation of communication networks.
* Provide advice and consultancy on the procurement, implementation, operation and maintenance of communication networks.
* Take day-to-day responsibility for specific development work on network and computer systems.
Skills and experience:-
* CCNA qualified
* Network Access Control/NAC
* Windows Policy Server
* Cisco Switching
* 802.1x (advantageous)
This role will fall in scope for IR35 so will require candidates to work via an Umbrella Company or PAYE.
These opportunities are to start as soon as possible so are ideally suited to candidates who are immediately available or available at short notice.
