We are looking for a qualified Mechanical Automation Maintenance Fitter must have at least 5 years experience and all qualifications up to date this comes with a company pension free access to doctor for you and your dependants great opportunity in a well established company

Mechanical Fitter

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ø Machine Fault finding, repair and problem solving

Ø Hydraulics and pneumatic maintenance

Ø Continuous improvement throughout the plant

Ø Welding/Fabrication maintenance

Ø Performs repairs of all buildings and equipment.

Ø Performs preventive maintenance procedures on building and equipment on a scheduled basis; inspects checks and replaces e.g. bearings, seals, etc.

Ø Inspects boiler; treats water with proper chemicals.

Ø Calibrates and repairs pneumatic systems.

Ø Maintains records of scheduled maintenance procedures by recording data which controls and monitors mechanical equipment and utility systems.

Ø Installation of new equipment; new services, during projects; replaces and repairs existing equipment as needed.

Ø Skill in reading and following blueprints and assembly instructions.

Ø Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions.

Ø Responds to emergency maintenance requests as required.

(The contract is based on a flexible shift rotation basis)
