Badenoch + Clark are working in partnership with a Sussex based financial services organisation to recruit a HR Advisor.

The role is a blend of Employee Relations, Recruitment and Project work and would suit a strong communicator who is great at building relationships.

The Role:
Supported by the HR Business Partner, provide support and guidance to managers and staff on matters relating to people policies and procedures and employment legislation as required
Build and maintain successful relationships with managers across the Company, ensuring that working practices are conducted within employment best practice and legislation
Participate and advise in employee relation issues to include disciplinary, grievance, capability processes, performance reviews, probationary period reviews and absence management meetings (supported by the HR Business Partner)
Update policies as and when necessary with legislative changes
Project work / improvement to contribution to overall HR strategy
Attend regular meetings with the HR Business Partners and line managers to support and guide them with people related issues relating to their team.
Keep up to date with employment legislation
Manage maternity and paternity absence in line with regulatory and company policy.
Conducting exit interviews and feeding back relevant information to the departmental manager and making suggestions for improvement
Support the management and work with the administration team on HR related paperwork relating to all internal change requests, secondments, probationary reviews, flexible working changes, leavers, maternity, paternity and recruitment
Ensuring audit checks are complete for Payroll submission


Experience:
CIPD Qualified level 5 - or working towards
Good organisational skills and Time Management
Clear communication skills both verbal and written
Discretion and confidentiality are essential
Confidence with IT and computer packages
