41030 - Senior Marketing communications Manager

Initial 6 month fixed term contract

Salary: negotiable

My high profile banking client are currently recruiting for a Marketing communications Manager on a 6 month fixed term contact with the potential for extension support the communications programmes.

Role Synopsis and Required Skills and Attributes

The Communications Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing the businesses communications plan supporting the company's strategy.

The Communications Manager will take part of the different programmes (regulatory programmes such as CSDR and the launch of new solutions campaigns etc.) and working closely with the Head of Marketing and Proposition, the programme managers and other stakeholders, they will develop and deliver communications plans to support these projects. The deliverables would include online content, client communications, newsletters, whitepapers, opinion papers, script for corporate videos.

Skills required for the role:
* Strong writing, editing, proofreading
* Layout and design,
* Ability to present concepts verbally
* Excellent organizational and planning skills
* Confident communicator
* Superior project management and time management skills
* Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of work experience required
* 8-10 years of related experience preferred; experience in the securities or financial services industry is preferred
* Compliance background/understanding not mandatory but preferred

Position Summary

Manages professionals who develop, manage, and execute marketing and communications plans in support of the firm's key strategic initiatives and business goals in addition to centers of excellence to support brand awareness, acquisition, client and employee engagement. Work is often broad and unlikely to be classified elsewhere, however, tends to contain elements of strategic planning and execution, resource and budget planning, policy and procedure development and governance, operations analysis/effectiveness, and performance measurement. The primary focus of jobs in this family are to address day-to-day issues related to marketing and communications in support of the firm's business strategy including segment and product marketing, internal and client communications, public relations, social media, thought leadership, advertising, sponsorship, and branding.

Implements marketing and communication projects in support of the firm's key strategic initiatives and business goals in addition to day-today support of brand awareness, client acquisition, client and employee engagement. Strong writing and communications skills.
