Technical Helpdesk Support Engineer

£23,000 - £26,000 per annum (DOE)


Basingstoke, Hampshire

Our client is looking for a Technical Helpdesk Support Engineer to join their team. Providing first line telephone support to customers, you will have a confident, friendly telephone manner. You will also provide guidance on installation/programming and fault finding and will ideally have electrical/mechanical knowledge.

Main Duties:

  • To answer technical telephone and priority line, satisfying customer requests for technical advice.
  • Prioritise support to account holders
  • Offer the highest level of Customer Service at all times seeking the assistance when necessary
  • Maintain a safe, neat and tidy workplace at all times
  • Support the company in it's maintenance of quality standards


  • A confident telephone manner
  • Previous experience / knowledge of electrical and/or mechanical products
  • A positive attitude to ensure resolution and a positive customer experience.

The salary is £23,000 - £26,000 depending on experience and this will be discussed with you. Working hours are 8.30am - 5.00pm Monday to Thursday (45 mins lunch break) and 8.30am to 4.00pm on a Friday (45 mins lunch break).

Free parking is available onsite as well as kitchen facilities. Social distancing is currently in place within the offices and warehouse.
