Role: Principal Consultant (Information Assurance)
Location: Winchester (Home working also)
Day rate: £575
Duration: 6 Months +

Role:
To deliver and apply technical, industry and regulatory expertise to the development of technology, products and services to support business development and new

Essentials:
*Provide specialist technical expertise and advice throughout the project lifecycle from conceptual design to implementation and operations
*Specify network/system requirements and develop solutions to meet or exceed expectations
*Provide thought leadership as a subject matter expert to define and lead the future development of products, services and technology
*Analyse and solve unique, complex problems with the potential for high impact on business activity
*Engage in and with industry bodies to provide technical consultancy, influence technical standards and policies and ensure business compliance
*Define, publish and promote technical standards and best practices within area of specialism to meet the needs of the business and our customers
*Coordinate the implementation of information security management systems and supporting frameworks, providing subject matter expertise to business units
*Provide business unit specific input into the development of the information assurance plan covering certification, customer, supplier and other audits

MSc Cyber Security or related subject
CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA, ISO27001 Lead Auditor or Lead Implementer, CISMP, Data Protection Practitioner, IRM Cert, Digital Risk Certificate, FAIR Analysis Fundamentals/FAIR

Specialist knowledge:
*Information security policies and standards (framework) development
*Information risk management including risk assessments and mitigations
*Information security audits including ISO27001 audits and supply chain audits
*Data protection policies and standards (framework) development
*Interpretation and implementation of data protection requirements
*Third party security including supplier evaluation, due diligence and audits
*Personnel Security (PerSec)
*Development and delivery of training, awareness and communications programmes
*Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus
*Interpretation of information security and data protection legal and regulatory requirements
*Interpretation and integration of security frameworks including ISO27001, NCSC standards, NIST, ISF Standard of Good Practice, etc
*Security frameworks including HMG and NCSC standards, NIST, ISF Standard of Good Practice
*Functional knowledge:
*Report writing
*Investigations including data subject access requests
*Use of Office 365 tools
