SQL Server DBA - Wakefield - up to £38,000 + Average Salary Pension


A leading public services organisation based in Wakefield. The company has implemented significant new technology solutions and seeks to increase it's IT team.


We are seeking an operational SQL Database Administrator to work in a fast paced and challenging environment, you will be responsible for both production and project work.
You will be responsible for database tuning, security, installations, back-ups and performance management.

Key skills & experience

*Microsoft SQL Server Experience, including SQL Server 2016, with knowledge of differences in all versions and across all SQL Server editions
*In-depth understanding of database security during their design and deployment
*Experience of enterprise database design, strategy and architecture.
*A highly capable business-oriented individual
*Good interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
