IT Capacity Management Analyst

My market leading and award winning client in Warwickshire, known for being a great place to work is looking for an experienced IT Capacity Management Analyst to join their growing IT team.

Key Responsibilities:

*Oversee and assess all aspects of IT Capacity Management ensuring each of the Applications follow ITIL best practice principles.
*Proactively identify and evaluate IT performance and capacity related risks and issues and challenge and influence internal and external stakeholders
*Manage and drive implementation of appropriate actions to mitigate the impact on IT service in line with COBIT principles and the Risk Management Cycle.
*Attend regular operational review meetings with internal and external stakeholders to ensure operational IT capacity management issues are identified, understood and resolved.
*Coordinate, analyse, challenge and investigate performance and capacity issues in the delivery of our Business As Usual IT service to establish root cause and to facilitate resolution in order to maximise service availability and minimise business disruption.
*Champion and drive regular reviews of IT Capacity Management policies, processes and procedures, challenging and advising Application Owners to ensure adherence to ITIL best practice principles to support the delivery of the IT service to the agreed SLAs.
*Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enable the successful delivery of our IT services.

Skills and Experience required:

*Significant demonstrable experience of managing performance and capacity in an IT Applications Environment.
*In-depth knowledge of Capacity Management Processes and Procedures.
*Experience of evaluating data and presenting recommendations to drive improvement.
*Demonstrable problem solving skills.
*Good Stakeholder Management skills with the ability to influence across levels.
*ITIL v3 Foundation desirable
