**Exciting opportunity for a candidate with extensive experience in Digital Audit Lead in a Local Government based sector!! A successful and Local Government is looking for an experienced Digital Audit Lead*

JOB ROLE: Digital Audit Lead

JOB TYPE: Permanent

COMPANY: Local Government

HOURS: 9am - 5.30pm

SALARY: £33,000 - £38,000

LOCATION: West End, London

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT EXCLUSIVE TO:

  • Major content audit and refresh to help support and deliver the new website
  • Project-manage the development and delivery of upgraded, streamlined and simplified website content for go-live
  • Content audit lead will be expected to hit the ground running, advocating for the highest standards of publishing across our new website from audit to go-live
  • Content audit lead should always be thinking about how upgraded website content interacts with our wider digital estate, and offline
  • Role will run alongside the website overhaul discovery project, kicking-off an audit of the existing web content
  • Sorting through the mass of content for consideration on the new website before it is re-structured and re-written
  • The content lead will be expected to consult upon this, producing and leading an Agile approach in reaction to discovery recommendations and subsequent business decisions
  • The digital content audit lead will be responsible for motivating and inspiring two digital content architects as a support team
  • Experience tailoring and optimizing web content for the best-possible user experience and outcomes, you will be a pro-active problem-solver, with a can-do approach, confident in building positive working relationships across the council

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:

  • You should have at least five years' experience managing, optimizing, creating and editing website content, preferably within local government or a campaigning organisation
  • Experience of using CMS, particularly Drupal, is essential
  • You will have worked in a multi-disciplinary digital team with a focus on excellent customer experience
  • Previous experience in providing CMS training and/or training on style guides and writing for web best practice
  • Demonstrable, significant experience creating content and online experiences according to best practice
  • Strong communication skills
  • Confidence & self-motivation
  • Ability to use social/networking platforms for research e.g. LinkedIn
  • Strong administration and organisation skills and good time management
