Account Management

· Develop productive and sustainable relationships with customers.

· Maintain proactive call outs in line with yearly targets set by PCM using DMS and account plans to log activity.

· Develop and maintain a professional and positive brand identity.

· Enhance customer expectation and experience.

· Resolve customer disputes and develop solutions to avoid repeat issues.

· Manage customers credit issues working in unison with credit control team.

Order Processing

· Generate verbal & written quotations

· Process orders in line with company procedures.

· Update Tiny Term and manager customer price list in conjunction with I/C and sales support team.

· Liaise with warehouse team to ensure customer's expectations are met.

· Collect payment on cash sales in line with company procedures.

Generating Growth

· Develop target account plans in line with yearly company forecast figures.

· Proactive sales activity focusing on new account acquisition in line with company yearly forecast target.

· Monitoring of customer accounts on a monthly basis to avoid lost revenue from competitor activity or poor customer experience.

· New product development - strategic planning and implementation of promotional mix.

Commercial Awareness:

· Maintain excellent product and market knowledge.

· Manage pricing strategy to remain competitive whilst maximising profit.

· Work with credit control team when considering customer credit worthiness.

· Maintain an overview of competitor activity.


· Liaise with I/C Manager to ensure stock range and levels are maintained to meet customer needs.

· Update I/C about current and forthcoming sales transactions.

· Liaise with credit control team when establishing credit limits or opening new accounts.

· Provide excellent customer service and experience.

· Liaise with warehouse team with regards to special delivery or packaging requirements.

· Good internal communication with all departments to avoid customer dissatisfaction.
