2nd Line Support
Interesting new opportunity for a support specialist who has hands-on technical support experience that is now looking for a more challenging and diverse opportunity. Modis are working exclusively with a quickly expanding technology business who are experiencing significant growth due to the demand for their cutting edge data solutions.
The business have made the decision to invest in their IT including the update and upgrade of their infrastructure (utilising Azure more everyday) and expand the support and technical development teams. As a result we're looking for someone who's keen to be involved in multiple projects in a changing environment.
The current business need I'm looking for someone with a flexible approach to undertake exciting new project-work as well as general user and infrastructure support. Although 'hands-on' the organisation outsource 1st-3rd line support to a 3rd party so any technical support would be desk-side and infrequent - that said we do need someone who is happy to support users day to day.
- User support - 2nd line
- Supplier management and engagement
- Incident and release management
- Process mapping and trend analysis
In order to be considered for this assignment, you'll need to demonstrate strong technical skills and knowledge in:
- Windows 10
- Office 365
- Azure - including knowledge of new products and features
- Knowledge of SQL and ideally Power BI
- ISO 27001
The role will be based in Birmingham City Centre and presents an opportunity for an IT support professional who is looking to join a table organisation.
