My client a international software company are looking to add a junior tester to their growing team in London.

Job Summary
Responsible for the creation of manual and automation test scripts as well as maintaining and increasing the framework that enables automation to run in the most efficient and effective way possible and provide confidence on the quality of the product we deliver.

Key responsibilities:
*As a Junior Technical Tester, you will work to deliver quality, secure and performance software in line with agreed best practices
*Design, develop, maintain and execute reusable test scripts for maintenance and project releases using QFS, Java and similar tools and programming languages.
*Design and implement automation solutions based on system understanding and analysis of technology and system specifications.
*Document software problems in the designated database in a clear and informative manner, providing all relevant documentation to enable swift effective resolution.
* Contribute to the creation and on-going updating of departmental standards.
*Participate in a programme of constant improvement of documentation for internal and external use, in line with the agreed documentation strategy.

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
*Aptitude for Maths, Computer Science or similar analytical disciplines
*Knowledge of one or more programming languages such as JAVA, Python, Ruby, Groovy, Javascript, Jython
*Knowledge of Test Automation and tools (Selenium or similar)
*Knowledge of QA methodologies - functional, regression, performance testing
*Genuine interest and desire to pursue career within automation testing
*Interest in mobile technology and solutions;
*Fast and enthusiastic learner;
*Very good analytical skills
*Time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
*Strong Attention to detail
