HR Manager - Organisational Change
This purpose of this role is to provide expert advice to managers on the interpretation and implementation of organisational change, including redundancies, contract variations and restructuring, within the context of the legal framework, including highly complex cases involving uncertainties and the absence of precedents.
Main areas of responsibility:
Working closely with senior managers as they review services and develop plans which will result in organisational change and undertake detailed analysis to identify how teams and individuals will be impacted by the proposed changes
Advise and support managers on the required HR processes to deliver the planned changes ensuring legal compliance
Provide regular updates on delivery progress and risks in the programme to identified stakeholders
Advise on, plan and deliver change and engagement activities to ensure readiness for the implementation of change and transformation programmes
To develop and deploy engagement tools and techniques, such as focused workshops and one-to-one sessions, to help support staff throughout the delivery of the change programme.
Facilitate and develop effective working relationships with the recognised trades unions, to ensure good engagement/consultation during the change process.
Senior HR professional with substantial experience of working at a senior level in a large, complex, multi-sited organisation in a highly unionised environment
Significant experience of supporting large scale organisational change
Evidence and experience of promoting values in equality and diversity
Excellent up to date knowledge of employment legislation and best practice
