Job Title: HR Generalist - 6 month FTC

Location: Putney

Salary: £30-£35k pa

We are seeking an experienced, pro-active Human Generalist to oversee HR Operations supporting 150+ people across 3 offices. This role is needed to cover maternity leave and is fixed term for 6 months.

Reporting to the Head of HR, in this role you will demonstrate your prior generalist operational HR experience within a fast paced environment. Covering the entire life cycle of employment, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing first class HR advice and guidance to directors, managers and employees
  • Delivering the project staffing resourcing plan in partnership with the technical project staffing lead
  • Implementing and leading the appraisal process
  • Administer compensation and benefit plans
  • Guiding managers and employees on employee relations and wellbeing issues
  • Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes
  • Undertake tasks around performance management
  • Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies
  • Managing benefits administration including healthcare, pensions and sharing payroll data with finance

Key skills and attributes required:

  • Degree level education
  • Proven experience in a similar generalist HR role is essential
  • Capable of thinking strategically and analysing issues to identify and implement creative solutions
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the confidence to build relationships
  • Professional, personable and approachable but firm
  • Able to work collaboratively with proven influencing and negotiation skills
  • Resilient, flexible and able to deal with variety of issues as and when they arise
  • An advanced knowledge of Microsoft packages including Excel, Word and Outlook
  • An excellent command of the English language (verbal and written)
  • The ability to present information in a clear and concise manner
