An excellent opportunity has arisen within a hospitality business based in London. They are seeking a commercial Solicitor to join the in-house legal team to provide high quality commercial and strategic legal support to its sports and leisure business segment. This role is a maternity cover for a period of 12 months and offers flexible and home working subject to department policy.

Main responsibilities:
*Provide effective legal and commercial advice and assistance as required by the segments/functions supported
*Draft and negotiate commercial contracts
*Assist the segment/functions supported regarding the assessment and management of legal and commercial risk
*Train the segments/functions supported on legal, commercial and regulatory issues
*Help to ensure that the business is conducted in accordance with relevant law and the companies internal governance processes
*Work collaboratively with all members of the UK&I legal department
*Provide preliminary advice on disputes
*Advise on regulatory compliance
*Support a range of standard and bespoke contracts and queries with relatively low to medium levels of revenues, complexity and impact

The successful candidate will be a qualified solicitor with a minimum of 3 year PQE*. You will have worked in an in-house environment and experience within a similar industry is an advantage.
