JOB TITLE: Data Analyst
LOCATION: Kingston, London
RATE: £164.85 (Umbrella)
IR35 STATUS: Inside
DURATION: 3 months

The client is looking for a highly skilled data analyst for approx. 8 weeks to support the development of a number of key corporate priorities including: a review of voluntary and community sector commissioning; development of an effective corporate PMO and; development of spend reporting and analysis. This role will support the development of dashboards and report templates aligned to corporate performance and financial management approaches as well as carrying out analysis to shape recommendations and inform decision making.

This is an exciting time to join the organisation as we have a brand new Chief Executive and an ambitious Administration. This means change and transformation is high on the agenda and this role will support and enable the development of a number of strategic objectives.

Voluntary and community sector (VCSE) commissioning review:

  • Work as part of the review project team to develop a baseline of current spend with VCSE drawing together data from a number of different sources
  • Analyse spend and map against corporate priorities/outcomes, geographic location and, organisation type
  • Design small surveys and analyse survey data

Programme Management:

  • Develop easy to understand and visually engaging dashboards to support the effective monitoring of projects and programmes
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators


  • Analyse spend data, highlighting and addressing miscoded or unmapped data
  • Develop reports and dashboards around a range of spend and contract areas

The ideal candidate will:

  • Experience of analysing complex data
  • Able to translate complex information into easy to understand reports both written and visual
  • Ability to challenge current processes and procedures with the aim of driving improvements
  • Confident working with financial data
  • Excellent numerical skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Able to work independently
  • Has strong stakeholder management skills
  • Be able to provide effective challenge to senior stakeholders
  • Have a coaching and enabling style to support the development of internal capability
  • Be curious, creative and solution focussed
