Ramp Services Supervisor - Gatwick Airport
Adecco Aviation are very pleased to be supporting this European manufacturing company who provide fuel saving solutions into the aviation industry. From June 2019, their products are being trialled airside at Gatwick Airport with a long-term plan to being rolled out across Gatwick and other major UK airports.
As a result, they a looking for Ramp Services Supervisor to join them initially on a temporary basis between June and the end of September 2019.
The ideal candidate will have previous aviation experience working airside on and around the ramp and probably have come from a ramp/operational background with a ground handler, airline or airside operations company. You will need to be self-motivated, proactive and committed and have excellent written and communication skills.
This is a standalone role initially, based at Gatwick supporting a major airline initially on a 4-month contract working typically a 40-hour week Monday to Friday, however there may be the need to do additional hours as required. Whilst initially for a contract, this role could potentially develop into a full-time role.
Please note, this position will require airside access so individuals applying will need to provide a checkable 5-year employment history, undertake a basic disclosure (criminal records check) and airside awareness and general security awareness training.
