Our client in Ashford are now seeking a Joiner/Spindle Moulder to join their busy team based in Ashford.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience of using a spindle moulding machine, mortise machine, tenon machine and a planer.

You must be able to demonstrate your knowledge and skills at interview. The client is looking for a independent, creative individual with lots of intuitive to use their own ideas, with a passion to succeed in this career. You will hold a high level of joinery experience and attention to detail.

The ideal candidate will be able to:
Either manage or work alongside an existing Joiner within the Joinery section of our well established timber construction business of thirty five years; manufacture an extensive range of Equestrian buildings, timber Garages, Carriage Houses, Workshops and Garden buildings. This person will work closely in conjunction with our Workshop Manager to meet the tight deadlines of all buildings to be delivered and installed to clients by our own installers. This is a demanding but enjoyable role requiring a pro-active personality. This person will be expected to have a good understanding of a wide range of joinery grade doors including; personal, double doors, French doors and bi-folding doors along with manufacturing our wide range of casement windows. Proven experience of working with Oak would be a distinct advantage.

The salary for this position is very competitive at £30,000-£35,000 depending on experience, with progression available based on personal performance and development within their role. The client is offering 28 days paid annual leave plus paid bank holidays

Standard working hours are Monday - Friday, between 7am - 4:30am or as the demands of the work dictate.
