Oracle Functional Financials Analyst

Introduction

Modis are the IT Specialist Branch of the Adecco Group. Our Oracle ERP Team delivers contract & permanent Oracle resources into Oracle Fusion & EBS projects.

Client

Modis are currently partnering with a global manufacturing organisation that is looking to add to their Oracle team in the UK. Our client has huge industry influence and are a market leader in their field in both the US and Europe and are looking to attract the best individuals to support their ever expanding IT systems.

Role

The Sr. Oracle Functional Analyst will act as a key contact with stakeholders to analyse, communicate and validate requirements for any changes in process, policy or information systems. They will also interpret and transform information and conduct detailed research of vendor products whilst assisting with general project management.

This role will be a split between project, and support work during the first phase of the projects and progress to include requirements gathering, build and testing of Oracle applications.

A deep understanding of Oracle EBS Finance modules and understanding them as a solution is required for this role, and the ability to take a lead in their role and provide a lead in regards to the financials knowledge base.

To be clear this is not a consultancy based role. You will be part of a specialist Oracle team providing guidance and expert knowledge across the EMEAI region.

Essential Functions

  • Gather requirements, create design documents and manage projects and implementations
  • Develop solutions to leverage Oracle applications functionality for the Financial & Treasury areas
  • Understand Application Configuration as required.
  • Provide business reports to management on behalf of the team.

Knowledge & Experience

Oracle applications functional experience with various financial modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA) or Cash Management (CM)

Expertise in the setup of Oracle Financial modules

Knowledge and familiarity of Oracle ERP applications & database architecture development tools (PL/SQL, SQL Plus, Forms, Reports).

A second language would be advantageous
