This position would be ideal for a candidate looking to develop their career, and gain a true understanding of a 360 degrees finance role.
This position reports directly into the Head of Finance, and would often deputise on ad hoc projects.
Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts.
Assist in the preparation of the monitoring returns required by the Regulator of Social Housing and other regulatory returns such as VAT.
Component Accounting - to administer/reconcile the capitalisation and depreciation of components items.
Supervise 2 finance officers in areas such as AP/AR, Balance Sheets Reconciliations etc.
Prepare the Group's cashflow
Undertake an annual review of service charges and income to ensure appropriate recovery of costs.
Assist in the delivery of the annual and anniversary rent change process ensuring rents are changed in line with government requirements.
The ideal candidate:
Would be Part Qualified with a recognised Accountancy Qualification (full study support provided)
Minimum 2 years experience in a finance role - Must have experience of Budgeting and forecasting, Management Accounts, and Bank Reconciliations.
Previous experience in the Housing sector would be incredibly advantageous.
Previous line management experience would be a plus.
