My client, a large charitable organisation based near the popular location of Covent Garden, are currently recruiting for a HR & Payroll Officer to join their team. This role would suit a HR assistant who is ready to step up to an advisory position. The role has a large focus on payroll however, as you will be working within a HR team you will need experience within a HR team and have a sound knowledge of HR policies and procedures. What is the purpose of this role?To ensure accurate and timely delivery of payrolls and to manage the reporting and administration of all benefits. To support the Assistant Director - HR services including coordination of non management recruitment activities, provision of advice and guidance on day to day employee relations matters to first line managers, HR policy development and support with employee engagement and internal communications initiatives. To provide accurate and timely data to support HR and Salary surveys, benchmarking exercises and Pay Review processes.To provide support to the Assistant Director - HR Services on internal communications and employee engagement schemesProvide support to the wider HR team in respect of Strategic ProjectsProvide cover for HR Administration in HRA's absence
