Perform a key role in the monthly management information preparation, being responsible for the timely production of monthly and weekly financial MI in order to meet business requirements .
Review the GI MI reporting capabilities and develop additional resources in order to drive improved insight in to the performance of the business.
Ensure that the GI expenses and project expenses are properly prepared and understood on a monthly basis, and ensuring their correct allocation to channel and type in accordance with agreed methodologies.
Provide support to the wider business, Group Finance, and external auditors in relation to ad-hoc requests for financial analysis of results, ad hoc MI requests and production of reports as required.
Assist and lead as required with financial reporting related project work. This may include improvements and developments to Anaplan, both for the cost allocation model and the reporting module. Assist in identifying improvements to our processes and outputs to meet the changing needs of the business.
Act as a liaison with the Finance Business Partnering team to understand the variances in cost centres and allocations of expenses.
