Our client is an international management consulting firm, with multiple offices in the UK and globally.

They are looking for a new HR & Recruitment Coordinator to join them ASAP, to support their consultants internally with recruitment needs, and also support the wider company within the UK with general HR support.

JOB TITLE: HR & Recruitment Coordinator

SALARY: £20,000 - £28,000 per annum, dependant on experience

COMPANY TYPE: International Management Consulting firm


HOURS: 30 hours per week, over 5 days

JOB TYPE: 12 Month FTC - permanent opportunity

LOCATION: Chancery Lane, Central London - travel to Cambridge required once per week (expenses paid)

  • To provide human resources assistance and administrative support to all employees within the company's UK functions
  • To support the HR team in the delivery of a comprehensive HR service within the UK
  • To support the company with all recruitment needs in the UK



  • Manage the company's recruitment process within the UK to ensure that all mailboxes are regularly reviewed, and applications are logged and processed within company timescales
  • To ensure that the recruitment electronic file is reviewed on a regular basis to ensure it is current and applications are removed when relevant
  • Assisting with the drafting of job descriptions and advertisements
  • Arrange telephone and formal interviews, liaising with applicants/recruitment agencies and consulting staff as appropriate
  • Collate the feedback from the interviewers, and with the Human Resources Assistant, process accordingly including updating the recruitment records and informing candidates of decision and next steps, if applicable.
  • To assist with the facilitation of the interview on the day, including setting up presentations, issuing the case study and ensure refreshments are provided (if necessary)
  • Initial screening candidates if desirable


  • To distribute all performance appraisal paperwork to meet agreed deadlines and co-ordinate its return
  • Work with the HR Officer to ensure training needs analysis for the company are being met
  • Work with the HR Officer to compile and roll out the company training plan from the performance appraisals and other training needs identified/requested
  • To provide a comprehensive service that ensures:
    • From selection through to the first day of service the new employee is welcomed into the company and their induction is organised
    • Qualifications, references and other paperwork are in place for new hires
    • New starters are supported in the joining process. Assisting them with local Information and support of the relocation proces
    • HR files are complete
  • In addition:
    • Maintain and update personnel records, change of address etc, keep records for pay reviews, training and appraisals
    • Maintain sickness, holiday, RewardMe, TOIL records and with the guidance of the HR Officer, provide regular reports
    • Ensure HR information on the bulletin boards is kept up to date

  • Previous experience working within the professional services is desirable
