We are currently looking for a desktop support person to work for an international asset management company in central London. The job holder should have 2nd line support experience working in the financial sector. The successful candidate will be providing technical support to a small user base in London and New York and also be involved in ongoing project work. You will be working alongside the local I.T team and escalating issues where necessary with I.T teams based within the parent company. The role will also require flexible working to cover core support hours.
Provide 2nd Line technical support for Windows based systems running Office 2010/2016
Video Conference and presentation support
Dell hardware support
Software installation using SCCM
Blackberry Work & iPhone support
Troubleshooting VPN issues
Setting up new users and some account administration
The candidate will need to be proactive, a good communicator, and confident in dealing with users at all levels within the organisation.
We are looking for candidates with a good understanding of the following technologies:
Windows 7 & 10
Office 2010, 2016 & 365
Dell hardware & Surface Pro
Active directory users and computers
