Procurement Specialist

Badenoch & Clark is delighted to support Police Scotland, one of Scotland's largest, most critical and high-profile organisations, to deliver key Procurement Specialist appointments, which will underpin one of the most complex and large scale procurement transformation activity in the UK.

This high performing team needs to continue to develop and bring in new talent. We can now proudly say they are a national award winning team, after their evening of success at the annual GO Awards, as part of Scotland's annual festival for procurement.

We are looking for strategic procurement professionals, who have experience in complex, high value procurements. You'll have a track record of delivering end to end procurement, driving savings and efficiency. You'll be comfortable with transformation - delivering beyond your role to shape processes, build relationships and add value.

These permanent appointments are integral to the on-going delivery of the Procurement team and will ensure a successful transformation into a rejuvenated procurement service, delivering commercial excellence whilst collaborating with our key stakeholders to achieve our organisational goals.

You will be an excellent communicator who can provide procurement advice, guidance and support to managers, ensuring adherence to all regulatory requirements. We are seeking people with a strong appetite for change and thrive on getting things done in a demanding environment.

We are looking to secure candidates with previous tendering experience, ideally within the public sector, to join a team that are determined to make a difference and continue to be recognised as high-performing.
