The Team

The Role

A hands-on role where the successful candidate will be expected to add real value from experience, insight, and leadership by example. You will be working closely with the Head of Department and the other Senior Developers to contribute to the continuous improvement of the development function.

As well as developing, maintaining and enhancing software applications across the whole Microsoft .NET Stack you will also be involved in all aspects of the software lifecycle helping refine the requirements through design.

We have several new and exciting projects that you will be contributing to, using the latest web technologies and frameworks so there is a real opportunity to build on and expand your skillsets.



Essential Skills

  • Skilled with Vanilla JavaScript or React frameworks.
  • Extensive experience with C# and the .NET tech stack.
  • NET MVC
  • SQL Database design - Stored procedures/EF.
  • Good understanding of OOP principles and design patterns.
  • A curiosity for new technologies and techniques and actively keeping yourself up-to-date.
  • Experience developing/working with APIs (WebAPI and experience with .NET Core a plus).
  • Experience working with CMS systems (.NET CMSs such as Umbraco a plus)
  • Experience architecting scalable, distributed solutions
  • Experience working with/implementing Continuous Integration (CI) systems (TFS/VSTS a plus)
  • Test driven development


Desirable Skills

  • Experience working with CMS systems (.NET CMSs such as Umbraco a plus)
  • Skilled with other JavaScript front-end frameworks (Angular, Knockout)
  • Experience architecting scalable, distributed solutions
  • Experience working with/implementing Continuous Integration (CI) systems (TFS/VSTS a plus)
