Production supply chain planner/data analyst

We are currently recruiting for a Production supply chain planner / data analyst to work with one of our very reputable clients based in Stockport. This rare opportunity has arisen with a key client that is a leading provider within their industry. You would be joining a friendly busy team and would be responsible for the preparation of the production plan for each product line for the week ahead, taking into account expected and historical customer orders, promotions, raw material availability and quality, and any other factor that could impact on the plan.

Duties will include -
-Regular monitoring of top and bottom performing lines and updating buffer and run levels.
-Scheduling maintenance requirements, trials/samples and other events into production plans, always ensuring orders are maintained.
-Generating reports for communicating production and manufactured stock status to key stakeholders within the business and updating safety stock requirements and lead-times against capacity for all manufactured stock.
-Develop relationships with the production team and work proactively with the leadership team to agree manufacturing processes and techniques and best utilisation of resource and assets.
-KPI tracking and recording to ensure the plan is achieved and utilisation and productivity are maintained.
-Actively learn about products so that you can apply consistent and accurate product knowledge to your role.

Candidates Must -
-Be a committed and focussed approach to work and an ambitious nature, someone who wants to succeed, and can demonstrate this.
-Have previously worked in a busy manufacturing environment and worked to set dead lines with multiple tasks.
-Have fantastic interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
-Be self motivated and willing to work on own initiative.

Hours- Monday-Friday - 8.00AM - 5.30PM (40 hours per week)
Salary- Between £20,000 - £28,000 (Salary dependant on experience)
