We are currently recruiting for a Finance Administrator to work with one of our reputable clients in Stockport on a 12M fixed term contract. This rare opportunity has arisen with a key client that is a leading provider within their niche industry. You would be joining a friendly team and would be responsible for assisting with the companies financial needs and ensuring all the office policies and procedures are kept up to date.
Duties will include -
-Monitoring companies finances and liaising with the company accounts, reporting back regularly to senior management.
-The payment of invoices and bills within the credit terms as specified by the suppliers and also managing timesheets and organising the payroll in conjunction with the company accountant.
-Regular credit control, chasing debtors and arranging debt recovery when necessary.
-Day to day banking activities and assisting with other financial queries.
-Attend meetings with current and potential new service providers and maintain the utility contracts and negotiate deals with them.
Candidates Must -
-Have excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
-Have excellent numerical skills.
-Be experienced in using Sage
-Have the ability to work to tight deadlines and ability to problem solve using own initiative.
-Have experience working in a financial role previous.
Hours- Monday-Friday - 8.00AM - 5.00PM (40 hours per week)
Salary- Between £22,000 - £25,000 (Salary dependant on experience)
