* Depository Compliance Analyst - Global Asset Management Bank, London - 3 month initial contract *

My client, a Global Asset Management Bank, is looking to recruit a Depository Compliance Analyst, on an initial 3 month rolling contract. This position will be based at their office in Canary Wharf.

As a Depository Compliance Analyst, you will be a key member of the UK Depository business working within the UK Depository Risk and Compliance Team. You will help assist in the ongoing Monitoring of Authorised Fund Managers and their chosen delegates.

The successful candidate will have a willingness to learn, will tackle a broad range of tasks and will work within a team environment.

Major Duties

The key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Assisting team in completing Investment compliance reviews in order to assess whether funds are compliant with Regulatory and relevant Fund documentation
  • Assisting with maintaining Compliance Monitoring plan, breach and issues logs as directed by Manager.
  • Providing administrative, organisational and analytical support as directed
  • Help to facilitate responses to client & internal queries in a prompt manner


The competencies that would be valuable for this role include:

  • Regulatory understanding
  • Compliance monitoring experience
  • Fund Accounting knowledge/experience
  • Banking background
  • Strong interpersonal skills and analytical approach.
  • Effective communications skills;
  • Ability to take direction from Management is essential
  • An understanding of collective investments schemes and the applicable regulatory requirements
