Wedding and Events Coordinator
My Client is a stunning countryside hotel set in 100 acres of land, very popular for events and weddings thanks to its extensive facilities and luxury settings. The hotel is seeking an experienced Wedding and Event Co-ordindator to join their successful and established team.
Working alongside the events manager you will be responsible for the smooth running of the wedding and events at the Venue. From Initial client meeting through to the event you will be the main point of contact.
This busy hotel can see events of up to 1000 people particularly during the Christmas season, therefore an eye for detail is essential.
As a team you will be targeted to hit a certain amount of events per month (weddings included) so the focus will be on converting prospect enquiries into bookings. In return you will be rewarded for hitting targets with monthly and annual incentives.
With over 120 weddings per year at this venue, this will be approx 80% of the role, so a good level of understanding about weddings is necessary, every bride is different and you will need to be adaptable and flexible in your approach to ensure you deliver the customers expectations.
Experience using Rezlynx is an advantage but not essential as full training is provided.
The key to this role is having excellent communication skills and a exceptional attention to detail, as you will be delivering what is expected from the client to the operations team.
This office based role will be working Monday to Friday however there will be requirements for some evenings and weekends as and when the business requires.
