As a Prep Chef, you will play a key part in delivering this company's food offering to standard every time, while ensuring the kitchen is in pristine condition.
Your duties will include preparing and presenting food to standard at all times, ensuring a smooth and quick service back of house to achieve excellent service front of house, taking ownership of the kitchen, pass, prep and pot wash areas, ensuring the kitchen is spotless at all times, in line with compliance regulations and taking ownership of stock ordering, planning and rotation.
You will need to have a minimum of 1 year's previous similar experience, hold a NVQ Level 2 in Food Preparation and have previously worked on a shift basis. You will be a team player with attention to details who is able to multi task and work under pressure.
The role is shift based on a 4 on 2 off shift pattern (0330-1300 x 2 & 1245 -2200 x 2 then 2 off)
in order to be meet the criteria required, you will need to;
Be able to make your own way to Gatwick Airport;
Provide Eligibility to work in the UK;
Undertake a Basic Disclosure/Criminal Record Check;
Must not have lived outside the UK for more than 6 months at a time in the last 5 years;
Provide 5 years written references and support any gaps of 28 days or more;
